As the spokesperson for the upstream and midstream battery supply chain, the Battery Materials & Technology Coalition (BMTC) was introduced in December 2020. The goal of uniting member companies is to expand the North American supply chain, from mine to the factory floor where battery cells are produced. BMTC members are well-known businesses in the United States and Canada that work to make sure that North America doesn't pass up the chance to be a leader in the expanding global battery market and electrified economy. Members of the group mine, extract, process, and recycle battery materials in addition to developing cathode, anode, and battery technology enhancements.
